OneView documentation

Docker installation

How the installer downloads and starts a signed release.

What the installer does

The public installer checks the host, validates installation eligibility, selects and verifies the correct release, prepares the deployment, and starts OneView. Follow the progress shown in the terminal and stop if a step reports a failure.

The client does not need a source-code repository account.

The installer creates protected installation data under the operating-system account that runs it. Restrict that account and its OneView data. Never commit, email, or attach the installation directory to a support request.

Re-running before setup

Before the database is configured, re-running the documented installation command can repair an incomplete setup.

After database configuration, use the supported update, repair, or network-change workflow instead of running initial installation again.
